Thomas, WindsorCOMPLETED
Nestled just a stone’s throw from Chapel Street, this Thomas Street South’s timeworn Victorian Terrace was in dire need of a revival.
Nestled just a stone’s throw from Chapel Street, this Thomas Street South’s timeworn Victorian Terrace was in dire need of a revival.
Plagued by water cascading down its walls, electrical malfunctions, holes in the floor, decaying stumps, and a scarcity of natural light, this jewel demanded a hefty dose of tender loving care.
We teamed up with Nisk, Ash Roberts, and Elliot Collective as we embarked on a mission to breathe new life into this decaying residence. The rejuvenation began by meticulously stripping the house down to its essentials, demolishing the rear extension, and creating a clean canvas for the transformative vision.
A thoughtfully designed floor plan was implemented to optimise both space and light. A central light-well, adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, ensured that natural light permeated every corner of this dwelling. The interior palette, featuring soft hues through render, bauwerk paint, brushed nickel elements, natural stone, and a warm tonal range, harmoniously meld together to craft a revitalised and fresh living space.
The redesign of the open kitchen-living-dining area, complete with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, seamlessly unfolded the rear half of the house, inviting a renewed sense of openness and connectivity.
We get it, sometimes it’s not the right time to speak on the phone (we have our best ideas at midnight too).
