Dee is a registered architect and holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture and brings a deep passion for thoughtful, well-resolved design. She approaches every project with precision and clear intent, carefully translating client ideas into designs that are both beautiful and buildable. Her work is calm, considered, and grounded in a strong understanding of how spaces are actually lived in — not just how they look on paper.

This appointment reflects something we’ve been building towards for a long time at Y.Projects: a truly integrated design and construct model.

Too often, great ideas are lost between drawings and delivery. Designs evolve without cost clarity, or beautiful plans reach site only to be compromised by buildability constraints. Our ethos is simple — design and construction should work together from day one, not collide later.

By bringing design in-house, we’re able to align creativity, cost, and construction thinking early. Dee works closely with our construction team throughout the design process, ensuring ideas are resolved properly, details are buildable, and budgets are respected — without losing the soul of the design. It’s a more collaborative, transparent way of working, and it leads to better outcomes for our clients.

Outside the studio, Dee’s creativity continues in other forms. She loves getting lost in a good book, creating with clay, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen — a balance of craft, curiosity, and care that carries through everything she does.
