Barry Street is an in-house design project currently in development at Y.Projects, focused on rethinking how the home’s spaces are arranged and experienced day to day.
Rather than simply adding more floor area, the design explores a considered reworking of the existing layout — improving flow, connection, and usability across the main living zones. A modest extension is being carefully tested to support a more open kitchen, dining and living arrangement, creating a stronger relationship between the interior and the garden.
Outdoor living is a key part of the brief, with the design allowing for an integrated BBQ and entertaining area that extends daily living outside and better suits how the home will be used over time.
