This original 1930 Old English Villa Duplex in Finch Street, Malvern is about to get a serious glow-up into a modern family home. We’re saying sayonara to the outdated interiors and that wall separating the two dwellings before it’s time to embrace a new floor plan and a slick modern extension.
Teaming up with our mate Aydan from Design by AD, we’re diving into a project that’s set to make some waves.
Picture this: we’re stripping down both homes, seamlessly merging them under one roof, giving the layout a makeover, and throwing in a lap pool right in the existing light court. This pool isn’t just any pool – it’s the main event, and the house wraps around it, complete with a cabana. Expect rendered archways, natural stone, and sleek charred black timber to add that extra oomph to this modern haven.
