There aren’t many builders who would take on adding a third-storey roof terrace, entertaining area and kitchenette on top of an existing double storey townhouse in the heart of South Yarra, but we jumped at the challenge. Couple this with having to protect and keep dry an already renovated ground floor kitchen, living room and bathroom, as well as reinforcing the structure to support a new rooftop spa – and you have 3A Cromwell Rd, South Yarra.
Working through the unpredictable weather of the winter months… oh and COVID-19 restrictions; this project has involved tarping, complex waterproofing and lots of late nights! We hope it will be a ripper when it’s completed later this year. We can’t wait to show you some of the amazing architectural detail and construction finesse involved.
