This project in Ballarat St, Collingwood embodies everything we love about historic properties, giving us the chance to merge a building’s rich past with its owners’ modern lifestyles. For this semi-detached Victorian terrace, we’re keeping the heritage build of the front two bedrooms and extending the rear to create a space our clients can really work with.
To unlock this single storey gem, we’re building an open plan living and dining space with polished concrete flooring, exposed brickwork and matte black windows, plus a brand new bathroom. But what we’re really excited about is the kitchen. It’s out with the ’90s laminate and in with new blackbutt timber cabinetry and slate grey stone bench tops complete with space for the all-important wine fridge.
